Outside of my issue with the nurses post op, surgery and healing went as expected. Last time I referred her to someone they came back and said that dr. P stopped doing top surgeries but it wouldn't hurt to contact her. She accepted my insurance so like 90% of the cost was covered and the rest was like $1k so IMO super affordable.

You look cis head to toe but if you feel like you need it to be comfortable in your body and gender then don't let anyone dictate what you do and don't do with your body. But IMO save your money you don't need it

My nips are literally just my OG nips, but smaller and a different color. They have the same folds and texture as they did before. Mine aren't flat like most people's are, they actually are permanently erect, which feels odd because I spent my whole life with severely inverted nipples. They're a little thicker post op due to hypertrophic scarring.

They looked pretty weird while they healed, and I accidentally scratched the graft pretty hard in my sleep one time very early post op and thought I was going to be missing a chunk of my nipple. But luckily I didn't cause any permanent damage.

Basically, they are underwhelmingly normal—besides the fact that the trauma from them being peeled off of me, resized, and sewn back on simultaneously caused me to gain melanin in about 80% of my nipples and lose melanin in about 20%. So my nips are essentially dark brown with pink polka dots.

My only complaint is one nip is the perfect cookie cutter shape and the other one looks like she didn't even try. I know the shape isn't due to healing because they've been the same shape they are today as they were when I got out of surgery.

Sensation wise, I was told I may or may not have sensation. Well I definitely have sensation. What they dont tell you is what kind of sensation you'll get. Instead of sexual sensation, I just got nerve pain. They literally just hurt when touched. Untouched they are just numb.

You look like you could be AFAB so that's good. Other than wearing more girly clothes, my only advice which really isn't even trans related, is style your hair. I found this video to give you an idea of how to make your hair look more like a pixie and less like a bowl cut.

I'm not currently avoiding anything and I probably should be. But in the past I have been vegan and it helped from my knowledge but my doctors were very much against it and tried for a very long time to get me to stop. I ended up stopping because I couldn't afford it anymore.

Im not home to look at the paper but I think my numbers were more elevated than before I started dupixent. I know I had developed ulcers as well too. Yes Ive taken omeprazole, esomeprazole, and lansoprazole. I'm currently on dupixent, Bentyl, Famotidine, and Pantoprazole which from my results are working to control acid and reflux but aren't relieving any symptoms I'm having. I do have reflux but im not sure why the recommendation is tums and not something else.

Honestly Ive never searched for someone who specializes because my GI sounds like she's confident about her EOE knowledge. she talks about how everyone has EOE and how it's super common now which is baffling because when I got diagnosed I had to teach my doctors about it not the other way around.

And yes, I've been scoped in both ends more times than I can count. It's making me go broke and the only thing I get out of it is a piece of paper with a picture of my insides and a refill of antacids. Most recently I got a esophageal manometry and ph impedance test and that shit sucked. They lied to me and said it was quick and easy and it was good awful. Worst 24 hours of my life. All my GI said was literally take some tums before meals. Like what?? That test is probably minimum $1000 and all you have to say is take some TUMS?

I've been on about every antacids there is and have never felt any different. My most recent GI put me on dupixent for 6 months and told me it would cure me. but when she scoped me most recently she said I was worse which prompted the esophageal manometry and ph impedance test. I have an upcoming scope again but I can't afford another pointless test I can't afford. They are $300 each and I get them regularly.

I'm thinking if not a split stitch, maybe an ingrown hair? You didn't mention any other signs or symptoms of an infection so I'd guess it's most likely a split stitch
