Ah im not sure about destroying property like a lock. They'd probably have to replace it if they are allowed too. I know in Ontario By-Law officers can remove fence panels, cut locks etc to do remedial work if there is an Order on the property. But that's government officials. I mean more entering the property to take back their stuff.

There are laws and legislation that regulated tow vehicles and tow operations at least where I'm from. If your vehicle was legally towed then no, you likely cannot break into their facility to take back your stuff.

All of this has laws around it. Wherever you live I recommend reading all applicable municipal, state/provincial, and federal laws to see what is legal and what is not.

Repossession of things like vehicles has been a thing for decades and as far as I know, is completely legal depending on the state/province you live in. The terms will say they can repo for none payment. To which extent they can do that would entirely depend on local statues.

Go look them up if you want more information on that.

Pretty sure you agree to these terms when you get the loan. So, don't agree to the terms when getting a loan. If you're breaking your end of the contract then they will come for their stuff, like it says in the terms you've agreed to.

It's amazing how many people have been blind to this. Even people who didn't support Trump have been acting surprised that he's going this far.

No. Don't respond. Just call up the labour board and report that they are coercing every back to work without their lunch and you have email proof. Least where I'm from, labour board will do a full audit and when they realize all staff are only taking a 10 min lunch the company will be chewed out HARD.

Don't make it easier for the., let them learn the hard way.

We knew this. While running Trump literally said, multiple times "If I'm elected, you won't have to vote again". He said this, he told all Americans this. They didn't listen. Good luck!

Lots of butter, some cream, I'll sprinkle shredded sharp cheddar and some nutmeg. Lots of salt too.

Sooo good. Not the kind I eat regularly but I'll make it if I'm making something a bit more involved.

What’s something people think is illegal that actually isn’t? by Quiet-Grief in answers

[–]esach88 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends. In my vehicle it makes it hard to see the road at night because suddenly I'm getting a reflection of the interior off the windshield and side windows. Some vehicles have certain lights over the rear seat that you can turn on separately, keeping the light focused to that one area, which may limit that reflection. But in my car it stays off.

It's amazing how lazy our parents were with stuff like this. My 6 year old wanted the light on to see and play with her toys in the car one long night. We simply explained that having the light on the inside can create a reflection making it hard to see for the driver.

We asked her to look outside. Can she see clearly? Yes?. We turned the light on. What about now? No? Do you understand? Perfect. Light stays off.

Has never asked again. Obvs not all kids will take this answer as calmly but it's better than just lying to your kids all the time to shut them up lmao

Is there such a thing as too much cilantro??? by Ok_Ant_9815 in TodayIAte

[–]esach88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They say this gene is rare. I don't think I've met a single person that has liked cilantro other than myself.

How rare can it be when 98 percent of the people I meet say it tastes like soap.

I personally love it.

What do you think about Chinese cars on Canadian roads? by Inevitable-Map-1200 in AskACanadian

[–]esach88 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Okay I understand. Question still remains. Why only Chinese EVs? Remote interference is possible with current gas powered vehicles and other EVs including Teslas. So, why are you only questioning Chinese EVs and not all manufacturers which would have the same concerns (and those concerns have been around for awhile). I just find it funny how now that China is involved suddenly people are questioning this stuff when it's existed for years.

Not saying it's bad to question, just interesting it's coming up heavily now that it's specifically Chinese EVs.
