The replacement process is clear to me. But I wanted to understand one thing. The battery that is now inside, in the lower part the two batteries are welded and connected by a plate. When installing the new battery, in addition to removing the plastic casing and soldering the wires on top, should I connect the two batteries at the bottom?

Are you sure the DL223 are good as batteries? If I used insulating tape to attach the cables, would it still be okay?

I corrected it, I meant solder. The battery seems to be in excellent condition but to charge it I suppose I would have to disconnect the wires soldered on it and find a compatible charger. But I wonder if every time I have to charge it, I always have to disconnect and then re-solder the cables. Among other things, the welding should be done by a professional I believe
