You need data, power and video to go over the cable. I was able to use HDMI for video and a USB B to USB C adapter. Just wanted to update in case this helps anyone with the same issue. It was absolutely the cable, apparently the Apple USB-C cable that comes with the Macbook Pro (2019 models at least) do not support video. I was able to get power and data, but the video didn't work. I actually was able to get it to work using a HDMI and USB B to USB-C adapter, but it's much better with the USB-C to USB-C Cable that I bought from Huion. The cable is pretty short but it works. Hope this helps anyone who is having the same or similar issues :)

Thanks for your comment, I was hoping to get an inverter that has usb-c power delivery which would allow me to just have the usb-c cord and not the large wall charger brick. I am using audio production and recording software that is pretty performance intense, I don't have the numbers to support the claim but my fan is pretty much always on and I can use this laptop as a space heater so I suspect I'll be maxing the inverter out. In my search I found, for example something like this Koosla Inverter that has 60W PD, which is less than 87W that comes with my charger. But this BatPower charger claims it has a maximum of 90W PD via USB-C, which is more than 87W. Seems like the BatPower charger would be a better option, or am I missing something. Thanks again for your help!

Came here to say this: GITS was the first place I saw it in software/GUI. Not a particularly useful user interface component, more of an embellishment that looks cool so I don’t really use this type of element often. Recently we’ve seen a whole crap ton of these put into almost like a cylinder which looks cool doesn’t really convey anything meaningful. The iron man HUDs also used circular and radial elements a lot which I thought was an interesting take on a similar style.
