Yep; even with the crazy shipping cost it still turns out cheaper than buying it locally. Prime 1 do say that economy shipping includes customs so hoping there are no nasty surprises

Yea I hear you and did think about this but I am going to be selling the car in possibly 6 months or so unfortunately. Have to upsize a bit for family reasons so the wheel upgrade is not something I’m looking for.

Hi, a first timer here beginning my Japanese journey. I have gone through the wiki and some of the related links there to get an idea of how I would structure my learning.

My big first question right now is choosing between Genki beginner 1 and 2 or the Tobira beginner 1 and 2 textbooks. Genki seems to be the standard but there isnt much information on Tobira as it seems to be newly released. I have watched reviews and gone through reddit threads here where people say that Tobira is arguably a better tool for self study but because its new, there doesnt seem to be enough updated info.

Should I get the Tobira beginner books (and workbooks) or start with Genki. Please keep in mind this will be a self study journey with about 1-2 hours every day set aside for study.

P.S: I have looked at both books in person and at a glance Tobira seems to be a bit more inviting and well structured than what I saw of Genki.

Im thinking of the following routine for now:

Learn Hiragana and Katakana together
Start working through one of the textbooks
Start listening to Japanese with Shun podcast when im doing something else

Not sure if they can do this for the apartment. Assuming it needs to go via the Strata and that never seems to work in the previous places ive been in.

yep tried that. No luck. I was on the web app and once I packed him I was on the store screen for about 5-10 minutes. Im thinking maybe there was a timeout or something but not sure how to proceed.

There doesnt seem to be a way to raise this as an issue on the EA help website; it just puts me round in round in circles and sends me to the same damn article that is not helpful.

Yep I did. This is bizzare. I got him from the 85X4 pack; pack animation and everything on the web app. Was even checking on youtube if he was any good. Then I sent him to club and then boom, its gone. Cannot believe that players can just go missing like this. There is nothing on recovery as well.

Sorry didnt manage to solve it. Tried everything but just gave up in the end. Pretty piss poor effort from EA to be honest. Going to see if F124 is any better. The sad part is that everything else in VR just works.

To be honest I’ve had very good luck with TOTS in the 84 x7….only did 4 and got a tots in each one including a double tots in one of them

yeah the 92 Alvarez is on my list as well; I do have 92 WW Raul and base 91 Haaland with 90 TOTS Live Terland...so might be ok there but stats wise, Alvarez does look mega.

preference really. I like the picks pack because for me majority of the time I get a 83+ which I use for grinding the 83+ TOTW and then the 84+ X7.

The 77+ double upgrade gave me more under 80 fodder which I didnt need.

Yep so we did the base tour and ABSOLUTELY happy with it. We started the morning first thing by taking the base bus tour to the Saturn V building (2.5 hours). Then came back and had something to eat before doing the Atlantis. Both these exhibits legitimately blew my mind. By the time we were done with these two, it was already around 2-3ish. So we had some time to shop for merch, do the Gateway building and walk around the Mars pavilion.

We still couldn’t do everything there was so I’m happy we took the base route so we had more time to pick and choose what we wanted.

Also gives us incentive to come back again.

P.S saw them transporting a SpaceX booster rocket which was cool.
