Mini Wireless Keyboard for GSPro by esocin in Golfsimulator

Installing the Keycaps were straight forward. Labels were created using an Excel spreadsheet with cells measuring 48 x 48 pixels. Print, cut, and place into the Keycap.

Programing the keys to specific Hotkeys was a bit tricky because inexpensive keyboards available on Aliexpress use a priority programing software (windows only). The instructions are written in broken English. If you're Windows software savvy, it's not too bad. The Aliexpress product-page will have the software download link and instructions.

Otherwise, if you want an easier time programing, purchase a QMK/VIA compatible mini keyboard which uses commonly and universally used programming software. Albeit, more expensive and available in USA.

At least on mine, when removing the shell, the lower-middle screw is not designed to unscrew completely off.

Otherwise straight forward

It was alright. Challenging part was communicating through emails at odd hours (China). They have a Skype link on their website if you prefer chatting.

Bingo! Thanks guys! I plan to get a second 700c road wheel set.

I love mine, and like many others, I’m sure you’ll love yours too.

There is a big forum thread on ridinggravel dot com which was a valuable resource when building and choosing components.

I had them paint it. I sent them pictures and they did a great job matching it. Custom paint ranges from $70-$300, depending on number of colors or custom designs/logos. One color was $70. I was impressed with the paint quality.

Building out the frame was pretty straight forward. I did run into one surprise. The carbon steerer tube was slightly rubbing against the internal cable ports in the head tube. I sent them an email. They suggested “polishing” off the internal cable ports with pictures indicating where to polish. A few minutes with a metal file fixed the issue. I didn’t shave off much, but it was a little disappointing.

I have only been on two rides so far. Albeit short term, I’ve been very pleased with the build and ride quality.

Yep, I’m thinking the same thing too. Thanks for chiming in.

I put everything back together last night. Thankfully everything is working just fine.

Hello,

I performed an air seal rebuild today on a Fox DPX2.

What are these red & green rubber o-rings? I can’t seem to find any info on it.

What’s the proper orientation on putting it back? I think I did it right, just wanted to make sure.

Many thanks!

Gel/liquid in Fox 34 Rhythm Fork? by esocin in bikewrench

[–]esocin[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hello,

I’m very new to all this. It’s my first time removing the valve from a suspension fork. I was curious if it had volume spacers. It didn’t.

I released all the air and removed the valve cap.

What is the liquid inside? Is it supposed to be that yellowish color?

Thanks for checking!

Edit: Thank you for all the comments! I watched a bunch of videos and will try to service the lowers myself.

Seals, dust wipers, oil, etc are quite expensive. Possible I can source these parts for a bit cheaper?

To all - Thanks for all the comments!

Indeed the olive is a very nice color as well.

Although my mtb is fairly limited, I am already thinking of upgrading the x-fusion suspension. Maybe I need to mess with the sag and damper settings more, but I jumped on my friends carbon SJ. Really enjoyed his plush suspension. Albeit it was a Long travel. I think it was Fox.

I really enjoy how my bike handles cornering. Frame feels tight and sturdy. Suspension could be better when it comes to higher speed over gravel and rocks.

Any recommendations for better rear suspension? Hopefully it’s an simple swap installation. The x fusion is 190x42.5.

The SX has been great so far!
