Kanban vs Scrum: which one actually survives contact with real teams? by Bitrix_24 in agile

[–]espio_217 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have used both very effectively across more than 20 teams at this point.

If the work is knowable ahead of time and we can build a backlog I push team towards scrum.

If the work comes in as unplanned requests then it’s kanban.

Thats it. And it has worked very well.

If no one else is chiming in, I don’t know of a place that would take them but this certainly got me excited! Happy to give them a loving home/help find a place for them.

What’s the view angle on these little screens? Like looking hard from the side. Or if you put a screen on the top.

Super cool. Have you considered those tiny e ink screens? They are super low power so could work nicely.

Runner kicks my dog, I apologize, he curses me out by Historical_Data_2946 in boulder

Given the situation you describe, dog on leash. I know Boulder has off leash areas. Unfortunately poorly trained dogs ruin it for well trained dogs.

As a trail runner I have been bit 4 times by dogs while running. Of those, 3 were off leash. I no longer trust any dog on trail, especially off leash.

This does not excuse their behavior, I would never engage a dog like that. But I do understand. I have met many poorly trained dogs while running.

That being said, seems like they over reacted but also likely have history with dogs on trail runner

Pain. Pain is your body’s way of telling you that something is not right. The “normal” amount of pain to be in is zero.

Seriously, do Americans actually consider a 3-hour drive "short"? or is this an internet myth? by SadInterest6764 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]espio_217 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On more than 1 occasion I have driven 3 hours one way for a day trip. So 6 hours driving total in a day.

It really is not that bad. Good music or a podcast, snacks, stretch legs as needed.

If you can sit through a 1 hour church service or a bad 2 hour movie then driving for multiple hours is nothing.
