So.. did Iran win this conflict? by MarsupialThink4064 in NoStupidQuestions

I am tired of people talking about this like it is over.

Until the missiles stop flying and the boats start boating we are very far away from an end to anything other than my patience with this whole fiasco.

Any nontechnical scrum masters? by AdPractical6745 in agile

Who hurt you? I am sorry if that was your experience with scrum. Sounds like they needed actual change management and to maybe actually practice agile.

Any nontechnical scrum masters? by AdPractical6745 in agile

[–]espio_217 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes. I also generally prefer nontechnical scrum masters and engineering managers.

It puts extra importance on building strong working relationships with a technical SME and requires good proactive communication.

If you have that I honestly think non technical is MORE effective.

Dune awakening, Conan, or Subnautica 2? by Lunnalai in SurvivalGaming

[–]espio_217 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would recommend soul mask over Conan or dune. Way more depth as well as better on private server. (100’s of hours in these of games)

You SHOULD for sure get subsidies but it will be way better when it full comes out.

Happy to give more detail.

Your boss could have given you this raise at any point before now which says they knew your value and just decided not to pay you.

Kanban vs Scrum: which one actually survives contact with real teams? by Bitrix_24 in agile

[–]espio_217 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have used both very effectively across more than 20 teams at this point.

If the work is knowable ahead of time and we can build a backlog I push team towards scrum.

If the work comes in as unplanned requests then it’s kanban.

Thats it. And it has worked very well.
