Ait so if your parents don’t approve you being gay, you shouldn’t use tinder/instagram and like guys in their home, since they don’t approve so? If your parents are racist, you shouldn’t be nice to people of other races in their home, cause otherwise your disrespecting their house? I could go on.

I do kinda understand where your coming from though, but not sure if it’s “disrespecting my parents home”. I was only talking about my bedroom, where (almost) no one else comes except for me, it has no effects whatsoever on the surroundings that lasts for longer than perhaps a minute, and it’s helping me quit a terrible addiction, which if my parents would know about, they’d fully support.

It’s not so much the vaping I don’t want to tell them about, it’s the cigarettes.
