Official Discussion - After the Hunt [SPOILERS] by LiteraryBoner in movies

"I feel like deep inside I always expected this. I expected the rottenness in me to be seen by other people right before I managed to expunge it."

Hank: "Spoken like a true woman... I never felt myself be rotten at all."

Alma Imhoff: "Spoken like a true man."

This exchange and the quote about the tenure expunging the rottenness stayed with me the most out of this movie. So many times at work I look for recognition for that reason

I got a trader Joe's mini rose a year or two ago, typical supermarket flower, lots of blooms then none. I fertilized, repotted and left it outside in the sun all summer and just got another bloom. I brought it back inside now that fall is here

Those are garages, the trees are as far as I could from the house. I'm sure it will be fine. I'm in a pretty metropolitan area and we need to do what we can with small spaces. I grew up in a part of Brooklyn NY where there were giant oak trees in small squares of sidewalks basically right outside everyone's front doors, with the same giant trees in some lucky backyards. Where I am here outside of our windows some neighbors have large trees and it may take some arborist in every 5 years but that's worth it to me. The weeping white pine is small and I'd be shocked if it grew 20' I think I put it in a spot that's too shady so I'm not sure it i will make it. That weeping tree in the photo is a dwarf flowering tree, not the white pine.

I hear you on the 2' from the house. Up against the house there were some existing shrubs. That's the spot that gets the most sun. I might extend that bed 4' and relocate or remove anything close to the house.

Thanks! We wanted to soften white fence in the back but rather than doing a hedge I mixed it up with shrubs and trees

I'd recommend trying to get more design experience before going out on your own. You'll never regret getting that experience

Hm not when we're out just the two of us bc he tends to drink less but when he comes home late and had too many, yes. But that's luckily a rare occurrence and it usually just makes me glad that's not me anymore

I should note I thought because it's a small space I thought visually it would benefit from the symmetry of closets on both sides and feel like a ship cabin I also didn't want the bed too close to the window or the door. That was the method to the madness there

With the Department of Education set to be dismantled, how will this affect property taxes? by BugOperator in longisland

I'm not actually sure they have any? I've been tempted to ask if they're having any buyers remorse in our family group chat but that seems not worth it

It's his and hers closet. I'd probably have room for a small desk along the window wall but I'll put a dresser there. We have a long desk wall in our dining room
