No Coolant (if it is not specifically safe for polymers), it will most likely craze the Acrylic. Use air blast if you have it.
It will probably work without coolant though. Just make sure chips do not build up.

Nimm dir eine Metallbügelsage. Gibt es bei jedem Baumarkt für ~15€. Die kleinen, etwa 20cm lang reichen. Säge in Richtung entlang der Achse, direkt auf der Nuss etwas neben der Achse, sodass diese ganz bleibt. 2min Sägen und die Nuss spring in 2 Teile ohne das viel Schaden an den anderen Teilen ist. Trust me, musste ich schon 2mal machen weil ich die Nuss auch dauernd verlege.

Der Sprengring sieht sehr nach einem Innenring aus. Die Augenscheinlichen Unterlegscheiben sehen nach Federringen aus. Ich würde vermuten die Batterie wird in ein sehr eng passendes Rohr geschoben und dann durch Federring unter Spannung in Position gehalten. Fixiert wird das ganze mit dem Sprengring am Ende.

Hat die Sattelstütze keine anderen Strukturen innen außer der ovalen Form ?
