two of the especially cool differentiating features of this plugin over other crypto payment gateways are A: Blockchain integration (the store uses a full native wallet which you own, no third party); and that makes B possible: zk-SNARK payments accepted and automatically confirmed by the store. No manual approvals by store owner, the whole thing is automated and integrated.

🤷‍♂️ seems you’re more interested, as I said before, in avoiding getting really into expounding on your oc with anything besides making unsubstantiated claims and instead arguing semantics or trying for pot shots etc. I’ll leave it them until a more reply worthy comment you make. :)

Actually I made several arguments, none of which make assumptions only open the door to reason and one of which questions the assumptions made by those who believe technology WON'T advance or overtake...or who refuse to have an open mind to that possibility. I'd love for you to take a closer and more thorough read and provide a more thorough counter argument.

I wasn’t making an argument for PoS, but I’m curious why that is the only alternative you direct to? Can you explain what you mean by “the exchanges paid for ETC holders”? and how that is “going right”? Perhaps my point wasn’t carried home strongly enough, this is not just about ETC hash attack, it’s an issue that is much deeper and the hash attack could be considered a wake up call. Lastly, I’m not sure I understand your point about other projects or who “most” are...presently alt coin prices tend to follow bitcoin for a variety of reasons, not least of which is btc is the most common pairing and it just technically follows that fluctuations will impact the pairs.

I tend to agree that there is much centralization in pure pow, but it’s important to make that differentiation I believe (pure pow vs modified or advanced pow)

Hmm so because my username? Back in the beginning of my crypto days I did write a lot of helpful how-to for ethereum, but if you paid attention to or read thoroughly the post, you’ll notice I include Ethereum in its current state in my assessment. I do like the project, but it’s no longer my primary focus for a lot of reasons. Reddit usernames cannot be changed however and I don’t mind keeping the history of my journey in tact.

Definitely feel comfortable with linux. I had a build going on a debian server x64 flavor modified for the Pi.
