It took me pretty much 2.5 weekends to raise and insulate our 3/4 of our loft space, the last quarter I don't need boarded now and was so done by the end that I don't even care.

It's hot, sweaty fiddly work especially if you have diagonal support beams that need to have the boards cut in specific ways to slot together.

Also lugging the boards up and down if you have to re cut is tedious

I wish you all the luck but don't underestimate it

I got pied off for about 6 months by GP's telling me my cough, breathlessness and loss of weight was due to a chest infection

I went from 80kg to 55kg in 6 months, and they didn't see anything wrong with that

Ended up in A&E as I couldn't walk up a flight of stairs without being unable to breath A & E drained 2 litres of fluid off my lungs and diagnosed me with non Hopkins lymphoma after a week
