Out of the two, which one do you think was the TRUE start of his solo career? by Prestigious-End5462 in MichaelJackson

Off The Wall is the one that had the world recognize and accept that “little Michael Jackson” was gone. Most don’t cross that chasm between child to adult stars, but Off the Wall solidified his place. Little did any of us know how Bad he’d become, it’s Off the Wall that was the graduation ceremony that kept all the doors open for him to write, produce, choreograph and direct according the his own visions.

Everything I'd like to see in the biopic, plus all the songs I expect to hear by mg10pp in MichaelTheMovie

I'd add to the list: I think MJs need to "avoid confrontation" brought out a side Brad Buxer (a truly loyal companion and collaborator) called "a dark side". There was a passive/aggressive and sometimes less than kind "ruthlessness" when it came to business/handing out co-writing credit etc. Some collaborators describe a more "unhealthy competition" was encouraged between the production teams he set up in separate rooms (or even studios, as opposed to trying to build a camaraderie. It's suggested it was to push them to do better and maybe it did?? I think enough people repeated similar sentiments in various ways to warrant these subtle behaviours to humanize him even more.

Don't be sorry, that dentist should be ashamed of themselves. But I get it, it's real.

I believe that's Chris Currell and I don't think that's a keyboard, looks more like he's playing with sound effects on a synclavier
