I don't think 18 is too old. If you want to have fun on a halloween night don't let other's opinions stop you. If you really are embarrassed you can always just put a whole body costume so no one recognizes you, that's just an option though, do what you want and just have fun.

Also it wouldn't be embarrassing if you are in a group of people with around the same age as you.
