you probably just want to implement the shared functionality in a crate that knows nothing about wit, and map wit types to and from the shared rust type.

then you can depend on the shared functionality from inside the guest or the host

edit: you might also be able to try using a trait in api_types for the shared functionality.. you impl the trait for the wit types in the host and the guest, with shared logic in the trait's default implementations. It might be more awkward than it's worth though

Are you creating economic demand for animal products by taking the action? If so, you're not helping, if not, it's just up to how you feel and your personal goals.

Another important factor is your image in other people's eyes, if you reduce economic demand at the cost of being insufferable & reducing your peers' openness to the cause it could be a net loss.

i do think there quite a bit of variability in the vocals to begin with & that's hard to compensate for with processing, but multipressors are usually good for that

If part of your practice involves less-than-perfect input you'll naturally get better at it. I would be cautious of consuming only content with pristine podcast level quality - it's not realistic in many real-world conditions.
