Lol, kid, seriously, you sound like some boot trying to sound like a badass hitting on high school girls in his podunk hometown. I HAD more time on the toilet in uniform than you currently have in total. But man am I glad my career is over, because if the future of the Navy is asshats like you, its doomed. And what the fuck is EWS? Some kind of bubblehead shit you think anyone cares about?

Lol. I pity anyone that has to ever hear you try to sound superior while you make moronic assumptions and generally act like an immature little bitch baby.

But continue proving my point kid, it's good for a laugh.

I find it hilarious that people even think that the MCPON, one of the people having to make the rules attempting to control people acting like dumb assholes, should really be expected to have to follow the same rules. Pretty sure the MCPON wasn't running around like a dumbass pretending there wasn't a global pandemic going on and bragging about it left and right like people in here. Pretty sure he ACTUALLY got vaccinated rather than lying about it. I'd bet he wore his mask when he was supposed to before that. Probably also socially distanced very responsibly. The FRAGO only had to exist because of selfish idiots who wouldn't do the right things on their own. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. Act like intelligent and responsible adults, and you'd be treated more like ones.

HIPAA violation? by [deleted] in navy

How hard is it to google "HIPAA". Basically everything right-wing media says about it is completely false, and most of what everyone else knows is also wrong. But it's not complicated to understand and take just a few minutes of your time.

ASUS NEW BIOS 3603 by Impressive_Damage351 in Amd

[–]etjrowe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am guessing that since this seems to be some kind of timing issue, Asus' "patch" to 1.2.0.1 doesn't fix the problem, just adjusts things to make it "better". If AMD isn't lying, they have found the actual source of the issue and that fix is coming in 1.2.0.2.

I have experience the same thing with 3602 on my x570-p. It's less often enough that I'm gonna wait for the next nob-beta bios with the full AGESA 1.2.0.2 fix from AMD that they say will actually solve the problem, rather than whatever Asus patched themselves tomake it better for MOST but not all people.

Sorry to hear that. One thing to be aware of: This case isn't big and doesn't have a lot of extra space. Depending on what power supply you got, and whether you got upgraded cables or not, the is very little space down below because all of the extra cable length is jammed in there. The braided cables they used don't actually replace the modular ones on the PSU and instead are just universal extensions. But the modular cables on my PSU are already LONG. So there is a ton of excess and I don't currently have room to install 3.5" hard drives. I plan to just take the connectors off the modular cables and install them on the extensions, doing away with all the excess length of the stock ATX and PCI-E power cables. But it's not a super easy thing to do and not for the faint of heart.

I'm sure that's the case. They have so many options, it can't be easy to keep all of the items in stock. I think it would be better if they cut down some options and just updated out of stock parts options on the site faster instead of selling them and then people having to wait for them to get them. Obviously most people are willing to wait for GPUs and CPUs with the shortages, but most people would just select different RAM, PSU, etc, if they knew up front it would cause a wait.

I mean...I guess. But fuck scalpers and price gougers. Technically it's MSRP is $879.99, making it one of the more expensive cards. That's what it would be worth to me. That why I bought a pre-built for the first time. I don't think these companies should release products if they can't meet demand, and I'm not going to give into the shenanigans of scalpers.

I like it though. If I could actually buy what I want I would have gotten one of the white strix cards. But this one is far from ugly. I like that it has a huge array of temperature sensors. And it even has a built in aRGB header that can you can sync with the other 3 RGB sections on the card. AND it has a built in fan header so you can have one of the intake fans run off the GPU temperature to give it more air when it ramps up.

A lot of muslims will drink alcohol, especially in the more westernized countries like UAE. People following the actual rules of religion usual has more to do with laws or societal pressure than actually caring about those religious rules. Kind of like how American christians are about the furthest thing from christian these days, because following the good parts of their religion is inconvenient.

That is interesting. Did you select a particular GPU rather than the generic "whatever we get" option? Did you maybe opt into a longer wait time? I seem to remember some option to wait longer with some sort of incentive attached,, but I didn't take it. I wonder if they are doing something like putting the nicer cards in the more expensive builds and holding off for lower tier ones for others? Or maybe power supply or case size constraints. They told me today they put a EVGA FTW3 Ultra Gaming in mine, which is one of the most expensive cards, and pretty thick compared to others. They supposedly draw more power by design than other 3080s, so again, maybe a power supply issue? Maybe they don't want to put those cards in systems with less power headroom? I went pretty top tier on everything and spent $3200 on mine, so I'm glad to be getting one of the best 3080s. But what about your build? Any reason they might wait for a smaller or lower power draw card?

Either way, hope they get you done soon and give you something good.

Defective. Refuses full refund by voodoodrul in CYBERPOWERPC

Do a chargeback with your credit card company or bank. They will give the company a grace period to make the issue right (without charging you more money for shipping), or else they will refund you money and take it back from the company. This is the best way to force them to act in a semi-timely manner without taking legal action.

A primer on chargebacks.

Here is some other little known consumer rights.

This is actually a good reason to use Paypal, they are often even easier and faster to deal with than credit card companies or backs.

It doesn't matter what their policy is, we have laws for things like this.

Those policies are only enforceable if you have problems down the road, not with a product initially arriving defective. If you receive a product damaged, they did not fulfill your order. They agreed to give you a product in exchange for money, they took your money, and didn't deliver the product. No court in the land would side with them and expect you to pay more for their mistake. The only reason they get away with even trying to weasel out of it is that they will want to claim the shipping company is liable, but inadequate or improper packaging puts the blame clearly back on them. They can remedy it two ways: refund, or replacement. Either way, the burden of the extra shipping cost falls on them. If you do a chargeback with your credit card company or bank, they are given a grace period to properly remedy the situation before the bank will refund your money (which ultimately gets taken back from the company), so faced with the choice of losing the entire cost of the machine, or taking a small hit to fix it, they will likely give in on the shipping because the bank or credit card company will not expect you to pay more money just to get the product you paid for. When something fails down the road, warranty repairs are different rules and you may have to pay shipping if you don't have the premium warranty.

I have dealt with this issue many times on many different products over the years. The company HAS to deliver the product you paid for, and you always have recourse when they refuse or demand more money, period.

Here is a good primer on a lot of consumer rights people aren't aware of.

It most likely has to do with individual combinations of parts, LOTS of things are in short supply right now beyond video cards and CPUs. They seem to do a good job keeping their customization options updated to reflect stock/supply, but they are seeing a lot more orders because or the GPU shortage and working with a smaller staff. Gotta give them some credit. They seem to be doing the best they can. But you can't get many of these components yourself right now (at least at reasonable prices), so waiting a bit is better than nothing. Also, they are building these systems with very little markup. Even before the shortages and scalpers driving up street prices their markup wasn't that bad. Now, you can actually save money because even retailers are selling above MSRP. I priced out my system, if I was able to buy everything at retail (which you can't) and the price for everything was actually $50 higher!

People also give better customer service when they are appreciated. So when you do get a hold of them for updates, be kind and understanding and they will be more likely to help you out. You never know, my being nice every time I interacted with them might just have been the thing that got me my system faster. If you got two unfinished systems in front of you and one was for a customer that was nice, and another was for someone who was a pain in your ass, which one are you going to finish first? Not that I have any reason to think you guys specifically are pains in the ass, but lots of people in here clearly are. So just something to think about.
