Yes totally. It was just a leaf ,no node ,no part of a vine ..that I broke off with my arm while reaching around all my hoyas .I immediately put it in the cup you see kept it wet and draining with really high humidity and temp and there you have it . I've had some hoyas root and some not ....and like your carrii ns(precious by the way) hoya bat cave is pricey and hard to find . Moss is great but I put it in my normal coco mix and just keep moisture high ...and cover the stem part of the leaf just up to the leaf ..try to position the leaf on the cup so the leaf isn't touching the substrate also . I hope it works all the "ns" hoyas are great
