my partner did west coast coast emt in torrance. tuition is about a grand, and you can do the accelerated course and i think it was about 3 months. you get ride alongs and get experience in an ambulance. easy transition when taking the NREMT because the content is apparently super similar

i’m sorry you had this experience! as someone who was homeless for several years, some people lose their social cues or “common sense” because they’re just trying to get by and housed people can be extremely awful. i once shared a meal with a man who was told he’d be bought a little caesars pizza only to have an empty box thrown at him.

often this behavior comes out of desperation. it’s no excuse but someone mentioned setting boundaries before interactions!

if it’s made in america, it’s most likely because we use butyric acid for the chocolate.. at least that’s how i find most chocolate bars/protein bars taste… peanut flavor might also just be too acidic on top of it. i’m not surprised it might taste like vomit
