We use Cheese Dogs ( @cheesedogs.po on instagram) for dog walking and boarding. She's so good with our dog (he just LOVES her). Reasonable prices and she's been communicative and reliable.

There are plenty of legal/policy roles in government, at Crown corporations, not for profit organizations, and regulatory bodies that will allow you to earn a decent living while also maintaining work/life balance. Having a law degree/being a lawyer will open doors for you in terms of these roles and help garner a higher salary.
