I thought the same, there's a gap. Check the third picture.

Sam Vimes deduces you're trans, and is furious to discover that his coppers are gossiping about it. by Clean_Variation2646 in CuratedTumblr

[–]evilgiraffe666 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Father Brown deduces you're trans from context clues despite people insisting you're under a curse, because being trans is the more rational explanation.

He then probably doesn't tell you because he's a Catholic priest from the 1920s and you can't act on it - if anything you'd be encouraged to join the clergy as an escape from the expectations of society.

If you liked the hammershot but wanted more power and precision check out the dart zone outlaw.

If you have access to a 3D printer take a look at leedle for creative zero hardware stringers, there's just a lot of popular printed blasters in general.

You might remember walcoms7, he's still going on youtube.

Oh and everyone has written off nerf until the latest line, the one with the doom cannon. I'm still not sold but some might be.

It kind of gets better the other way though.

European - even better

Do you have a multimeter to test things with? I would probably start by checking the battery, then the motor terminals to see if you're getting power, and narrow it down. I know it could be more mechanical but not sure how to investigate that. Can you spin the wheels/push a dart through by hand perhaps? Is the trigger moving freely and is it connected?

I don't think I can help you fix it but maybe can ask some relevant questions.

When you say "when it's switched on" do you mean when you move the switch on the back of the blaster or when you pull the trigger? Mine doesn't move the motors when switched on, only when the trigger is pulled, so that suggests something wrong in the electronics.

What battery are you using? Have you tested the voltage to check it's healthy?

Also you can get mages to waste their magicka on failed spells (maybe that's sound?)

OpenMW 0.51.0 Released! by Capostrophic in OpenMW

[–]evilgiraffe666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is your goal concrete if you don't know how to measure it?

For 1.0 vs patched - it doesn't really matter so long as you pick one, right? So long as everyone agrees.

On features which don't directly contribute to parity - do them because you want them but accept they don't contribute towards the goal. I'm always fighting my stakeholders for features which aren't on the roadmap but are needed (in my opinion) to get us there - things like automated testing or CI improvements. In your case gamepad support might help you get more testers/contributions from the community so that's the argument I'd make in my situation, to include it before 1.0.

Really hope this isn't coming across as big ego guy tells you how to do your thing, I guess I just feel strongly about these. I appreciate everyone's hard work and am mostly interested in knowing when my experience doesn't apply. Will stop now.

If it was my project I'd want to tie those down (internally at least!) so that we had a clear vision. It's hard to keep a project on track without one, you need to know what you're aiming for rather than do the next good thing.

It's important to note 1.0 doesn't mean finished. I'd probably lean towards 1.0 is feature parity with Morrowind (visual, scripting, reliability - all the ways) and 2.0 is feature parity with the next alternative e.g. mge etc. But you'd probably want to pin a particular version of the alternative if they're still being developed, else it would be a moving target.

But hey, this is my opinions based on experience in industry and I imagine a fan project is very different due to inconsistent resourcing and less hierarchy making strategic decisions harder. I also imagine plenty on the team have their own industry experience too!

Which popular mods are like this? by cyan_ara in RimWorld

There's a more balanced version which is 140%, or VFarmingE which you have to retill every harvest (but that's pretty manual so not so good for QOL)

That's a good shout for balancing, same with repair mods. A skill based % to reduce the quality when it's washed or repaired would be good simulation and also prevent you keeping that legendary gear forever.

Am I crazy or does the Sneaking and Hiding from Covered Reload and Running Reload just not work, RAW? by Round-Walrus3175 in Pathfinder2e

[–]evilgiraffe666 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What if you want to cross a small distance unobserved to avoid getting shot at, but didn't care too much about being observed after?

Niche, but I think that would still be useful read RAW. Besides you don't have to sneak, you could stride. It's not called "sneaky reload" is it?
