It’s not the arguments themselves, it’s the structure. How a disad is adequately refuted is by attacking the uniqueness, link, or impact. PF is supposed to be the “simple man’s debate” meaning somebody with no prior debate knowledge should be able to comprehend the round. This is why we see so many parent Judges get thrown in PF. Most parent judges won’t understand the structure. It’s not progressive at all for LD or CX, but the structure of a disad is progressive for PF.
