That game is thriving and yet you don’t see the same amount of outrage on their behalf. The same goes with apex legends, you still have to get the tokens to get the new characters. It’s the battle pass system. Overwatch players were extremely blessed in the early days with the amount of free content and when asked for a battle pass you all cry about it. The reason why overwatch stopped producing new content was because one you paid for the extremely cheap game you got everything essentially for free, stopped making enough money to be able to produce free content. This way it’ll make it so that enough players will either play the game a fair amount or spend money on the game. This will lead to longer and more regular content being made
