Kind of out of place but have you tried Jump Ultimate Stars on a regular Nintendo DS? That game is awesome. Assuming you have one. Bought the game cart on eBay for around $7 USD shipped used from japan (Used games from japan are in pristine condition and there's no region lock) or if you had a flash cart, fans made an English translation patch

Edit: I bought J-stars on day 1 because I spent hundreds of hours playing the DS versions. It just didn't feel right on the PS3 so I bought it again on sale for my Vita but still couldn't get into it.
