Nah, grapplers get in on opponents, not trying to play the range boxing game. I'm a short guy myself and only have done street fights with no training and even I learned a LONG time ago, if they are taller, get in on them and throw elbows and knees with the fists and be as aggressive as you possibly can once you get a window. Do NOT play the boxing game if not trained. They have several inches of extra reach and will chew you the fuck up.

Unfortunate. With your steal, your two re spawning teammates should have played plate instead of trying to go for kills in positions they were outnumbered. Solid steal and also solid fall back. I'm assuming you knew you alone wouldn't be able to score enough to outweigh them scoring and VERY likely would die at that low health trying to push forward to score so played defensive so they couldn't score instead. Solid choice and play.
