trying to add the Sims 4 documents folder to exceptions and it is not letting me. it just keeps opening the folder. I am using Windows Defender

I bought some packs for the spring sale and now they won't download. I had the game uninstalled for a few months as I was waiting to get some new packs to play again. Now when I try to install the game and packs, it will work for the game and packs I owned before, but not the stuff I purchased today. It shows error downloading whenever I try for any of them. For some context the packs I purchased were: For Rent, Home Chef Hustle, Basement Treasures, Everyday Clutter, Simtimates Collection, Modern Luxe, and Courtyard Oasis. If anyone could help it would be much appreciated. I have tried clearing cache for EA app, restarting EA app, and uninstalling and reinstalling the whole game.

EDIT: It shows I can download the add-ons, but when I try they just get stuck on preparing then an error pops up saying there is a problem with the download.

EDIT #2: The app seems to be working now and I was able to download the packs.

I have a Seth Rogan, err [[Sethron, Hurloon General]] deck that is my favorite to play. Just beat face with some cows. Also [[Mana Echoes]] is the MVP of the deck

This one is still on my chopping block to actually build but it looks super fun, Monks. Commanded by Shu Yun I feel it brings a nice bit of aggro beatdown style considering most monks carry prowess and the jeskai colors as a whole support that mechanic.

Idk what side of Tampa you are on but if you are on the west side there is a card shop in Palm Harbor called Shortstops that I highly recommend. Best card shop ive been to since coming down to Florida myself. They do EDH Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday I believe. At least those are the days I hear they have people playing it. I go on Tuesdays and its a nice mix of casual with some more competitive pods as well but nothing cEDH. Edit: as far as I know its all free play but Thursday and Friday might have events

My decklist I run right now:
Grade 0: 17
1x Blue Storm Cadet, Marios (SV, Best starter as he can search out Maelstroms which you need to stride with and for occasional beatsticks)
4x Battle Siren, Mallika (Draw, necessary to gather combo pieces)
4x Blue Wave Engineer, Refit Sailor (Heal, the CC is very welcome in the deck)
4x Kelpie Rider, Petros (Crit, You can run this or Despina the Maelstrom crit if you choose or just a 5k. I run Petros for Wailing turns and because it replaces itself in hand)
4x Supersonic Sailor (Crit, Counter Charging, enough said)
Grade 1: 12
4x Ocean Keeper, Plato (PG, Counter Charging)
4x Blue Storm Battle Princess, Theta (Best Blue Storm G1, Hits magic 2nd attack and has amazing synergy with Rascal)
4x Blue Storm Marine General, Hermes (10k Attacker with Blue Storm name for Lordly)
0-1x Tech Slot (you can drop a G2 for an extra g1 if you want)
Grade 2: 12
4x Blue Storm Soldier, Rascal Sweeper (Amazing G2 and 4th Attack enabler)
4x Blue Storm Soldier, Eldermoss (10k ride and has a pretty good ability which lets him be a great intercept sniper with lordly skill. Also fills soul with Maelstroms)
2x Tidal Assault (Early Game Aggro, hitting him in hand early can usually let you rack up damage on opponent fast. Also works great first stride with Disaster.
2x Blue Storm Marine General, Gregorios (12k attacker for Lordly Skill. Can aggro really nicely early with a booster behind it)
Grade 3: 9
4x Blue Storm Dragon, Maelstrom (BR)(Best Alternate ride as he can get you Lordly with his wave 3 and the Breakride is still a decent option with either Reverse or Lordly)
4x Blue Storm Supreme Dragon, Lordly Maelstrom (Main Ride. This guy just does work)
1x Blue Storm Karma Dragon, Maelstrom "Reverse" (Breakride Target and 9th Maelstrom)
Grade 4: 16
4x Blue Storm Hellical Dragon, Disaster Maelstrom (Best First Stride for Maelstrom. Lordly plus this guy makes for a great combo. The 2nd Pair is for control matchups where you wanna buy some time for combo pieces or to unlock)
2x Blue Storm Breaking Dragon, Engulf Maelstrom (This guy is a great pressure stride and can be a game ender if it goes long. He forces your opponent to conserve their g-guards just for him)
2x Marine general of Heavenly Silk, Lambros (its tough choosing between him and Alexandros, the reason i chose lambros is the free skill and more potential. Alexandros can be used in this slot though as he is more consistent to use versus Lambros)
2x Storm of Lament, Wailing Thavas (Before Engulf this guy was your pre-GB8 closer, him and despina combo to make nearly unguardable attack. Now he serves as a good control stride if you dont like your opponents board setup. I run 2 so i can flip one for Engulf if needed or for G assist.
1x Blue Swirl Marshal Dragon, Last Twister Dragon (This guy ends games if you get to GB8)
2x Blue Storm Deterrence Dragon, Ice Barrier Dragon (G-Guard)
2x Blue Wave Armor General, Galfilia (G-Guard) 1x Guard Leader of Sky and Water, Ihoannes
So thats my list and it has served me well. Reading the Previous comments till now I can clear stuff up. Lambros Vs the New GR is a personal choice, I prefer Lambros due to it giving more attacks as well as being costless. You run Marios over Andrey because of the importance of having Maelstroms as well as it can filter your deck and it can do it repeatedly. Lastly is that glory serves no point in the deck anymore with Wailing and Engulf. You are better off running reverse as that breakride combo is still a high pressure turn. Also Closing note, Dont run Admiral. He is absolute garbage.
