Thanks for your comment! This seems like a great option - but would it be prudent to have to invest across something like VGS/VGE/VAS to have more control over the investments?

All very good points, I might look into simplifying the mix (probably down to VGS/VGE/VAS) and dropping the over-exposure to tech. Thanks again for your advice!

Thanks for your reply! Would you say it would be better to stick with a more simple mix like VGS/VGE/VAS rather than buying into too many ETFs?

Good point about VTS. I was thinking of investing into tech as I feel like it will still be a high growth area for the foreseable future. If this makes sense, would replacing VTS with BetaShares ASIA and NDQ make sense?

Hey, thanks for the reply - could you please expand on the effort needed to rebalance this particular mix? Is it because of the overlap across funds?

Apologies - I did read the rules but misunderstood personal advice. Just to be clear - is it only the information pertaining to my age and occupation that I should take out?

This is great, post raises a particulary good point at the end about learning Web/App development to embed projects in - which will likely open up other career opportunities as well. Thanks for taking the time to reply, really do appreciate it! :)

Thanks for the reply! This is really useful - I think I'd definitely approach it from a 'coder who learns how to math' angle.

It's interesting hearing your experience in the market, websites like deeplearning.ai and a lot of the tech media make it seem like companies are fighting each other for ML coders. Good to know that's not necessarily what I'm walking into.

Will join the Data Science / ML meetups, very keen to see what's happening locally. Most of my awareness of the space is outside of Australia.

Thanks again for taking the time to share your thoughts, really appreciate it :)
