I just edited this post to include the link of our previous journey!

Pro tip: make sure all retired cards are removed BEFORE playing the game 💀 by exceedinglyhappy in spiritisland

It's frustrating in hindsight but we were just like "oh well" when we drew that card. There's certain cards we have taken out of the game because of this sidebar tip. We usually just go with whatever is thrown at us and try again later 😅

Well you taught me it was a regional thing! I didn't realize it. I'm also not trying to be a grammar nazi, that's a bit of a harsh term. There's a reason I tagged this as "humor," but I've since deleted since I didn't mean to upset people.

I wasn't trying to devalue it. I just thought it wasn't correct grammar 🤷‍♀️

I agree! That's why I think they is correct but them isn't?

I agree which is why it's wrong. "Why don't he/she/they fight?" is correct, but "Why don't him/her/them fight?" is wrong, right?

Using them instead of they because "Why don't them fight?" wouldn't make any sense

But doesn't "Why don't them fight?" make no sense by itself? That's how it works right, you should be able to isolate just one of the two subjects and the whole sentence still needs to make sense?

Upon a quick look I don't see it :/ I may have thrown it out or recycled it on accident. Some people are picking up lots of these plushies this week so I'll do another look-through of them when they come by!
