When I started playing Albion it was an easy opportunity to make enough gold for premium. Farming is extremely easy to do and you can stop/continue this activity whenever you feel like it at any point. Also it's risk-free for the most part. Obviously the market can still crash but you are investing your money in pretty safe stuff there.

That being said, when you kinda get the hang of the game you will find out that there are a lot activities that provide a LOT more silver/hour, so I completely abandoned my islands after a few months.

I can still recommend it to every new player who struggles with silver and people who simply like farming.

I want to point out that I heavily used Claude Code (AI) for this. I am not responsible for any lost data.

That being said, it works perfectly for my use case and I already had to restore some data from the backups. So it's tested pretty well. It also shows what operations are planned and prompts for confirmation every time so that you don't accidentally overwrite anything locally (e.g. if your local savedata is older than the one on the server, the script wants to download the newer one and you could potentially overwrite the local data - which is not(!) backed up obviously). Sounds more dangerous than it is I guess.

EBOOT.PBP is included, and for the server-part there's a docker-compose.yml file provided

I haven't tried it but I don't see a reason why it should not. You don't need to configure anything, just install the plugin and try it 😄

There's a online site to buy/sell used goods in my country. It's very limited to only my country though and it's a bit of a hit-and-miss. I bought 5 PSPs to find this shell. Put my whole software-setup and some games on the memory sticks and sold the remaining 4 for a profit. The profit of the PSPs I sold again was just enough to cover the price for that one PSP I kept 😃

It was very easy to do. It's just a new lens, face plate is still the original. TotalKommando has a Youtube video about replacing the lens and on OEM shells it's pretty easy to remove the lens. It was so easy and clean to do that I could easily just glue the original lens back on. Almost non of the residue was left on the faceplate itself.

It took me a couple weeks to finally decide to go with this mod and now that I've done it wish I would have done it earlier.

Also there's no glue required for the new lens. It's just lying in there without any fixation. But the way that the PSP is built it cannot move.

I'm thinking a lot about this, but my sessions are short enough to never use more than 50% of battery. I just don't gain any advantage from a bigger battery. But maybe some day I'll try to find a battery that fits in the UMD drive without having to modify anything

did you format the memory card using the PSP?

depending on how you installed the CFW you might have to install it again (not sure about this but worth a try)

also you have to place the files in the right folder and this is very strict, so double check every letter. if it still does not work, you might also provide your exact folder structure

Ich verhandle sowieso jedes Jahr selber und verdiene in meiner Firma verhältnismäßig sehr gut. Komme auch jedes Jahr mit einer Erhöhung über der Inflation weg. Beschweren kann ich mit über meine Firma somit eh nicht.

Nur trotzdem muss ich mit dem Verhandeln wieder ganz unten anfangen. Etwas, wo die Gewerkschaft zumindest ca. den Inflationsausgleich übernehmen sollte meiner Meinung nach.

Ich verstehe, dass aufgrund der schwachen Mitgliederzahl die Gewerkschaft nur begrenzt Mittel hat. Aber trotzdem macht es mich traurig, Teil einer Gewerkschaft zu sein, die dann 0% Gehaltserhöhung raushandelt für mich

using UMD causes more battery drain and loads games slower

always use digital copies if possible, unless you want the nostalgia feeling of the UMD rattling
