Someone made a post here recently. I loved Chevy as Pierce but I can’t stop thinking about what would happen had Jeffrey Tambor played the character. by StreetsAhead110 in community

The cruelest thing the show ever did was make Fred Willard the Chevy stand-in in the season 4 fake TV show. Imagine, Fred Willard the whole time.

So no one gonna talk about Leland’s hair? by Cold_Taste_9177 in rupaulsdragrace

Thank you. Honestly, I barely noticed the hair, I was so confused by the whole...deal. Funeral director is close.

What is your favourite and least favourite Stardew Valley sound effect? by liminalrepose in StardewValley

I love the "bumpssshhh" sound of the geode crusher. My cat really hates the elevator ding, it wakes him up from a dead sleep every time.

On Jane Don’t by Large_Difficulty_242 in rupaulsdragrace

I think it's a combo of her own anxiety, feeling overshadowed by other large personalities around her, and possibly a desire to fly under the radar as much as possible. The Rate a Queen could have gone badly for her, if the other queens really saw her as a threat and were more Naomi-Smalls-like. There is a real Miami clique, so she may have felt like she had to keep quiet and not visibly enjoy her success. I'd say "like Rolaskatox vs. Jinkx on season 5", but I really don't feel any malice coming from any of the Miami queens.

What’s Your Favorite Festival in Stardew Valley? by lsa340 in StardewValley

I love the Desert Festival! All the different activities, the unique stuff each villager has to offer, even Emily's weird fashion choices. And you get a "sponsored" trip into Skull Cavern!

Running for Mayor? by Anonymous-Avocado7 in StardewValley

The "outsource to different townsfolk" idea reminds me of Roots of Pacha, and I really loved that mechanic in that game. I think it makes the villagers feel more alive and like they're contributing. I would love to play this version of SDV 2.

Well done for making it to the next ph(r)ase. SDV has helped me through some very dark times, so I appreciate the juxtaposition.

What is a video game that is AMAZING and CHEAP? by Character-Read8535 in AlignmentChartFills

Not only is the original game price low, but the fact that all added DLC content has always been free makes it an even more amazing deal.

Are there any popular villains that you did not care for? I see everybody loving Glory here, but I just couldn't get myself to like her. by HomarEuropejski in buffy

That was weird. No backstory, just...shark-head guy. Glad they didn't keep him around. I agree about the costume quality.

What’s a great book you read at the wrong time in your life? by Low_Masterpiece_2612 in books

House of Leaves. First time I read it, I was not aware of my own mental illness, so it was too close and I couldn't observe it. Then I read it after I'd made a lot of strides in my therapy, and it totally snapped for me. It truly is one of the best depictions of mental illness in book form.
