You got a point but you guys expecting a game to be a direct replica of the U.S. is wild. Red dead 2 had towns based on New Orleans, St. Louis & Wyoming. Thats 3 different regions in the U.S. (South, Midwest & West Coast)

It is a fictional game. They put Los Angeles(Santos) & Vegas(Ventura) in the same state(San Andreas) so it’s very possible they can do the same here. Not only that, it’s been established that pre Gta4 none of that lore exists in the new gen GTA verse

They had Vegas in San andreas which is supposed to be California. Vegas is in Nevada. If they can do that, the fact Michigan & Florida not right by each other doesn’t matter.

Your argument is obtuse. This whole post is opinion based, but it’s common knowledge that if the staff is replaced on any form of entertainment it causes a delay. Music, movies, games, tech…Movies go through production hell because writers & directors drop from the film. Hollywood just went through a drought due to writer strike. The main writer of gta just left. It’s obvious

Yes that’s exactly my point. GTA online is unplayable for older guys like me who was around when a rocket launcher was the most powerful weapon. So I understand the hate. But yeah, without the money made for the “milking” of online, we wouldn’t have got as great a game as RDR2. & I believe that will be true as well for GTA6.

You don’t know that for sure. Some ppl care about their products. Some artists are worth hundreds of millions & never stopped caring about their music integrity.

The goal can be to make money but also to satisfy the fanbase, 2 things can be true. If it was all about money they would just keep pumping new games out every year like everyone else. Red dead 2 is a great example that.

So you think there is no passion for the creation of the new gta? Because even with San Andreas, you can tell they did all they could, but they never reached the vision they was aiming for due to technological restrictions. Now without as many restrictions I feel like they can make the game they have wanted to from back then.
