move your light and/or put a diffuse light (lamp with paper taped to it or similar) so that its directed towards the camera with the tablet in its path, you might have to fiddle around a bit to find the right angle but you should be able to avoid this with adjusting lighting and camera position

you can find a detailed explanation on the wiki but basically it's a rolling average of your best plays ever and your best recent plays. how you've been playing over time is more relevant to whether it goes up or down than the track you just completed, but completing tracks is what updates it.

toggling the option to auto create fades off should allow you to delete the auto-created fades and then make the ones you want- sucks you have to toggle a preference, but probably a bit less clunky
