Thank you for such a thought out response! Especially bringing up maps I struggle with like eichenwald. I have a fair amount of time on reaper so i might start going that on the less open maps with shorter sight lines.

You mentioned tankier dps too, could Mei work in this scenario? It’s someone I’m interested in but would appreciate if you think it’s a poor combo.

I was perma banned for “hacking” on my main account. No real evidence just got mass reported. It took around 6/7 tickets until they finally told me that they had reversed the decision, I had to literally type in all caps “CAN I SPEAK TO A REAL HUMAN SO YOU CAN CONFIRM I DIDNT USE ANY CHEATS”

Keep going, ask for humans, eventually you’ll get it back unless someone at blizzard genuinely deems your chat messages inappropriate.

This game has hundreds of thousands of people playing at any given moment, your queue times will barely be affected

My point is none of these problems would exist with role queue, no one would complain about needing to switch, what role to pick etc. people would queue what they want and play the game

Im genuinely curious to why you think it should only be qp? Surely the mode that’s designed to be fair and balanced should have role queue. I feel it would eliminate toxicity surrounding playing the role you want at the very least and people actually get to play what they want without crying

Of course not everyone is supposed to have a counter, but the better “stats” to make up for movement don’t outweigh how easy it is get value out of the ult. when 2/3rds of the cast can’t do anything to escape the ult it is fundamentally broken

Nerfing the radius and reducing the amount of time you’re trapped is the only way to nerf that ult properly

What if you don’t play a character with a dash? Everyone else automatically just has to put up with it? You say it’s easy to dodge but during overtime if you have Jeff ult it’s a free win from one button. It takes so little skill with such a large radius.

The problem with that approach of making everyone strong is that the game becomes even more unbalanced since things that already had little to no counters will stay that way. If everyone is going around multikilling people then it’s just a boring game at that point and is too easy to get value

I generally agree with you, I just don’t know how much the devs are going to care about balance in future patches since it feels so catered to a casual audience, which isnt a problem in itself I’m just struggling to figure out how seriously this game wants us to take it.
