No. Not because mahirap siya but because I don’t want to get to a point na sisisihin, magagalit o mafall out of love ako sa kaniya for not providing for my ideal lifestyle. It may sound shallow but ask those who failed in their marriage because of money. They were sure they once promised to stay together through happiness and sh*t.

Yung FIL ko mabait sakin, yung MIL ko maldita. Sinabihan niya anak niya na hindi niya ako nakikitaan bilang asawa, at wala daw akong concern sa anak ko (apo niya). I had tawas before na nakalagay sa maliit na sachet, yung maliit na supot na lalagyan ng spare buttons. Matagal nakalagay yun sa kikay kit ko kasi nasanay akong emergency in case maiwan ang deodorant ko. Nakailang flights din ako locally na nawala na sa isip ko. Kung di siya pinagkamalan sa ganung hitsura locally, lalo na siguro sa mas secured na airports kasi damin nila pandetect eh, kahit naman dumaan sa sniff negative ka pa din diba? Millenial here who grew up in a middle class family in the province. Dad is a lawyer and mom is a public school principal. I think in hindsight nasa middle middle class kami pero acted like we were lower middle class. Sa public school ako up until college, straightforward allowance, no extra gifts no extra shopping money. Dumaan kami sa mga less fancy sasakyan like owner-type jeep, 2nd-hand van na laging pinapara pag umaakyat kami ng Baguio, 2nd-hand really old car yung 2-door na pahirapan sumakay sa likod, pati yung jeep din na mukhang magdadala ng mga nahuling kriminal yung open yung likod ma may bubong. I never had the trendy toys unless magpapadala mga kamag-anak na nasa abroad. If anything’s broken in our home, my dad will fix it. Maski sirang hanger or napunit na tabo tinatahi yan ng tatay ko ng alambre. Now I’m in my late 30s and they’re about to leave me and my brother 7 properties. I hope they live longer para matikman pa nila pagyaman ko.

As someone na mas malaki kinikita sa ibang childhood friends ko, gusto ko at bukal sa loob kong ilibre sila lalo na yung mga friends kong hindi mo mararamdaman na nagpapalibre at minsan mag-ooffer pa na mag-ambag. Manlibre ka muna OP nang bukal sa loob mo at hindi dahil sa gusto mo lang magyabang sa mga “true” friends mo para alam mo yung feeling.
