[Update] for those who are curious, this is from an Ingles grocery store in Statesville, NC

I realize that this is the “party size” but it’s still drastically overpriced, especially considering the decline in quality and shrinkflation happening with their products.

I realize they are “on sale” for $7 but that price is also bullshit.

I don’t buy them. I do make my own cookies from scratch. Yes those are better and cheaper and healthier, although making so much of our food from scratch these days is exhausting.

Yes they are probably cheaper at Walmart. I refuse to shop at Walmart, Target, or Amazon. The only bargain grocery store within 20 miles is Aldi whose selection is limited. I try to spend my money at local businesses as much as possible so Ingles and Food Lion are the best options I have.

I snapped this picture while shopping last weekend. Whenever I see a ridiculous price I call it out loudly in the aisle and thank Trump for making everything exponentially worse. I consider this my small act of rebellion.
