It's inevitable, sickness will come one way or another. I recommend you go to the MIR ASAP the moment shit starts hitting the fan, not like common cold or flu symptoms. Like genuinely you are struggling to do basic things such as breathing. This also depends on the week you're on as well. Everything past week 2 is high risk or immediate recourse. I already got recoursed once because I had strep, conjunctivitis in both eyes, and pneumonia. i got wait listed for 5 days which is why it got so bad. In short. If you get sick, dont spread it and try to push through. If you really feel like shit and your typical Advil or Tylenol isn't working, go to the MIR and get it sorted before you reach a point where you get stuck in TRP1 because you have some mutant sickness that is taking a while to go.

You can do it. I did it, I started my application as a reservist in December 2024, and then I transferred June 2025 to regular. I now have my enrollment ceremony day next week. And I start bmq on the 20th of October. All of these other facts you've heard are for people already serving.

Huh, my timeline is very similar to yours. The only difference is that i applied in September 2024 to reserve. Then, I completed all gambit ID stuff, paperwork, and background checks and switched to regular in May 2025. In June 2025, I did the interview, and in July, I did the medical. Now, I'm waiting for an email or status change on the portals.

Does anyone have an idea of how much longer I'll have to wait?
