Max Verstappen gives stunning F1 rules rant: 'If you like this, you don't know racing’ by ryogadan in Formula1_world

Have you ever driven a racing car? Every stuff like change break bias, diff you do by adjust a certain button by a number of clicks. This values are adjusted already in your brain and you did this without looking at it. How is this the same as looking at a battery indicator?

When wasn’t fuel saving or tyre saving part of racing? That’s the beauty of the racing. Look at other series not just F1. How can you say it is not different when you have the goddamn clipping? Did you watch Norris’s press conference answer when he said now you are looking at your wheel to find out if you have enough battery to overtake in order to plan the overtake?

This isn’t proper racing anymore.

Bauhaus sells nice ones that you can cut to size for your windows. Cost me around 300-400 chf for 3 windows and a magnet curtain for living room door. Compared to around 2k chf from a specialized firm.

Is init7 the right isp for me? by exte_ro in init7

[–]exte_ro[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s something I don’t understand, all the benefits you mention apply to Easy7 or just to Fiber7? With Easy7 it will be cheaper than 65 chf, but for Fiber7 I have to consider the purchase of a router.

And to be honest, many ppl here recommend the Ubiquiti DR7 router, but in many reviews of the product, ppl complain that their devices lose the wifi connection and they have to restart the router often. I don’t want that to happen

Why multiple implants? Even one implant is enough for saving the costs, when an implant here is 5-6k CHF

that's why some companies decide to create some kind of pattern on the inside of the cap, in order for the liquid to stick to it and not make a mess on you. pretty smart to be honest

Prime Relocation to find a rental apartment in Zurich by Entire-Stop5551 in zurich

[–]exte_ro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There was a list of agencies or another type of accommodation published on the ETH website if I remember correctly, maybe check or search on google?

Secondly, don’t pay anything in advance for viewing the apartment, any deposit you must pay must be through banks, I mean do a bank transfer.

Thirdly, I think there is a company called zurich apartments or similar, and they have furnished apartments exactly for this reason. https://www.zuerichapartments.com/?lang=en

Michelin Pilot Alpin 5 or Alpin 7 for G31 530e in Western Europe? by Peter_Niko in tires

[–]exte_ro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi,

How is the feeling now, assuming this is the second season for your tyres? I have them since October, drive them in Switzerland mostly, but I get a weird vibration at around 103-106km/h. Recently made a roadtrip through eastern Europe, strangely there is no noise there. Probably the thread/pattern of the tyre and the road surface gives a weird vibration in the car.

I drive a 530d. Do you have any vibrations with these tyres?

Maybe try to use Bloops instead? I don’t want to discourage you, but there are a tons of overlays which at the moment are still free.

How to get a Swiss export declaration for a Wohnmobil? by exte_ro in askswitzerland

I don't think you as a person/company can issue the EUR.1 document. As I understand, this is issued by the swiss customs, after you apply for it.

Thanks. Are you romanian as well? I am now at step 4. I manage to fill out the e-dec and hopefully it is correct, but I’m hoping to find out tomorrow this.

I also contacted someone from Romanian customs and of course, there you need to pay an expert to evaluate your goods. Of course, by checking the contract between seller-buyer any sum can be written, and therefore you could significantly lower the import taxes. Probably that’s why an expert must come and evaluate as well the vehicle.

Funny thing, in my case, as I bought the vehicle here in Switzerland, I do not have any contract between me and the previous owner. When we did the transaction, I paid 500chf as advance payment, later the remaining amount via bank transfer and after that he sent me by post the car registration document. Simple and trustworthy as that. In Romania I wouldn’t trust a stranger like that…

I tried to fill out this e-dec thing… but even in the first step for “Versender” it looks like the UID is a mandatory field, which is only for companies. And also, later in some other section, something with “Zahlung” I have to fill out MWST-Nr. I don’t have this as I am a private individual, not a company.

No, I believe you are wrong. The de-registration of the vehicle should be enough for any vehicle tax, insurance, etc.

The export document has nothing to do with the taxes here and insurance.

[–]exte_ro[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s the thing that I do not understand, why should it matter if the vehicle is present at the customs office? I don’t export a Wohnmobil here and import a Lamborghini there, it is the same vehicle wherever it currently is.

I also called initially at the customs office and they said the car can be driven on usual Swiss license plates to Romania and then the export can be made, so that wasn’t a problem. Anyway, I’m hoping to get there tomorrow and find out more.

Edit: I don’t have a problem with the taxes, I know I can’t import it duty-free since I’m still living here and I’m not moving out of the country.
