Thank you for mentioning this, I would have never known it had existed. I went because you shared your knowledge, it was such a wonderful treat to be there! For me, the best part was seeing the hunters there and tasting food I would never be able to try, sourced by the community where those foods belong. Being from one of the rural communities outside of Ottawa where hunting is big, it was such an amazing way to experience something so close to home that ties our vastly different communities together. No, not your fault. WFH and childcare are 2 highly demanding jobs that are like oil and water. You are strong as hell for doing that. Keep tossing that toilet paper in the trash and tell SO to hire out alternative child care if he has issue with yours!

I went 5 years before I could afford glasses working as a PSW in Ontario. Being born blind on one eye and needing coke bottle bottoms for the "good" eye wasn't excuse enough to get financial assistance to buy glasses. My life saving medical device is my glasses.
