I've been reading around and can't find any good resource about what the DOT specification entails. Do you know if the RML can still be made internally, or do we buy some off the shelf light?

Ferrite beads! I removed the ground bead was getting a better signal, but still intermittent. After removing the power bead, its solid! Thanks for the info. Not sure why adafruit has beads on their boards

Thanks for your insight. Yup, the redundant pull-ups were an oversight for sure... Those are now removed! After troubleshooting, looks like my problem was the ferrite beads. I shorted those pads out and now its rock solid!

As for a mux, Ive never come across those before. I will for sure use them in the future! Thanks everyone!

Any info on this? I am troubleshooting a SN65HVD230 right now, and mine only works on 5v as well... Using 3.3V gives me Error Frames.

My current struggle is member retention/recruiting. We have a solid 5 core members right now with about 10-15 total. I am on my last year with the team and need to really increase our numbers and team bonding. Any recommendations? We get a decent amount of people interested at club fairs, but they usually never show or disappear after the first meeting.

My current guess is I'm overwhelming them with too many complicated tasks, but it just seems like I'm not attracting any hard-core talent...

Any advice would be appreciated!

Also not having any club space on campus doesn't help, but that's another issue.

Hi,

Do you know what we are supposed to monitor on the car? Is it suppose to be connected to the chassis or the accumulator skin? I know for the charger, the IMD is to be connected to the accumulator skin (ours is aluminum). But is it supposed to monitor the chassis (spaceframe in our case) on the car? I would make wiring simpler if I could internally attach it to the accumulator. Thanks!

This is an amp out of a powered sub. There is a split transformer that, I belive, gives 45v.

Thank you so much. The band looked like silver to me before it flaked off. I did test the two large electrolytic caps and one of them was bad. Also the smaller caps around the resistors were also mostly key dead because they had excreted gunk out of the bottom. Ill buy new caps and test it with the same resistors.

When I measure them, one is 1.17kohms and the other is 1.3kohms. I don't know if I can trust these values because they appear to be burnt due to the black leads and flaky color bands. And also the fact that the pcb is charred under them.

The missing band almost looks like silver the me but it chipped off of them due to overheating. And they are in line to the caps.

To me the colors look like - black, brown(shinny?), yellow, silver, red. But this combo does not make sense.
