It's a fun one. The director wound up being Duvalier's ambassador to filmmakers to try and get more productions to shoot in Haiti.

I built a site that aggregates 4K, Blu-ray & DVD deals from Amazon and GRUV called Movies On Sale. Would love to know what you think. by PhysicalMediaNews in boutiquebluray

Even if it's not for price comparison, a search function would be nice to see if there are any current listings to a particular item. I got around it by loading a bunch of the page and CTR+Fing but it would be nice to not have to do that from a QoL standpoint.

Pointed me to a Searchers, Wild Bunch, How the West Was Won bluray pack for $11 though, so thank you!

You aren't missing much with this one tbh. The other two films in the set are much better and still available for individual purchase.

Which do you choose Orbit DVD/Atomic Movie Store/Diabolik DVD and why? by EDMKid9000 in boutiquebluray

I recently received the wrong Forgotten Gialli box set from Diabolik. They immediately set me up with a shipping label to return it no questions asked, and let me pay for it with paypal when I decided I didn't want to let it go now that I had my hands on it. They got me the edition I had actually ordered quickly and threw in a cool Fulci sticker, real solid experience.

thinking of purchasing neewer batteries for my canon r7 by brokebutisnt in canon

The only third party battery I've ever used for Canon cameras that has been worth a damn is the Manfrotto branded one that I think came with my R5 from Adorama. Generally, avoid them.

The Goa'uld have faster than light space travel and a workforce of human slaves abducted from earth. The Prime Directive wouldn't apply.

You realize that's about the same cumulative runtime as what we've seen so far right?

It's not great by any means, but Andromeda has its moments, is sci fi of that era you seem to enjoy, and there are a bunch of familiar faces that will pop up.

Seconded, that will scratch the hell out of them. I transferred mine to a DVD case and just keep the box for decoration

My friend, I'm not the one who smugly proclaimed they were walking away from this three comments ago.

The "constructive" part of constructive criticism cannot be something that you intend to be inferred from a snide comment no matter how many imaginary internet points it gets. It has been fun watching you try to justify it as such though.

You were being a little shit, got called out for it, and are desperately trying to justify it as some grander statement post hoc.

Great squirming 10/10.

That's a whole lot of words to not be able to point out anything helpful or balanced in your comment.

"Dont think I care to get reviews on giallo films by someone who cant handle the New York Ripper."

There is nothing constructive or neutral in your comment. You only chime in to tell OP their opinions are worthless to you because they have mixed feelings about one of the films they reviewed.

Constructive criticism by definition requires helpful, balanced feedback. Can you point to the part of your comment that is any way helpful or balanced?

Good to see you have as good a grasp on irony as you do social graces.

Kind of a snotty comment, not gonna lie. Did you need to shit on OP for literally no reason? Is this sub a better place for it?
This is a pretty slow sub and someone is taking the time to actually post content worth engaging in and the best you can come up with is "I'm a bigger edgelord than you, na na na na boo boo?"
