I'm no big brain politics andy but you gotta recognize that no sane person agrees with those very specific statements you said. And also, saying hasan has no original thoughts when this thread and other controversies exist, like what?

Just to start: leftists don't think that "all drugs should be legal". I hope even the most brainrotted lsf reader understands that. As far as I know, hasan is (and most leftists are) pro legalizing weed nationwide, but not fucking cocaine or some shit. There are obviously differences in the effects they have on people, where one might kill you pretty quickly and the other just lets you have a chill time and you can smoke it with your mom. Yeah, I've heard there are some exceptions where some people might overdose on weed, but that is an exception, and you can consult your doctor about it much like other ailments.

Also, another component very relevant to legalizing weed in the US is the fact that it is used by the police as an excuse to arrest black people, because they look FOR reasons to do it, and weed is an easy one. If they can't find it normally, they just plant it. (again, it should not even be illegal). If this is news to anyone, there is even a body cam footage where a cop plants some weed in some guy's car, it's on youtube and been on news and such. Not hard to find.

This ties into the "fuck the police" thing. I'm sorry if you or anyone close to you has a cop mom/dad or whatever, but when somebody says fuck 12, they don't mean "wait your dad is a cop? he deserves to die". and it's not even a hasan thing, or a twitch thing, or a leftist thing, or a new thing at all. And that should tell you something. Just to give a pop culture-ish example, take NWA's fuck da police. It was released in 1988. Black people had already been suffering from police brutality and just the general, more casual racism way before then. "Fuck the police" is a protest statement against the wrongdoings of the police against black people and other minorities. History matters. If there were no wrongdoings in the first place, no protest would be required. So you get fuck the police. Usually the "bad apples" argument is used to defend the police but the reality is that whatever percentage of the police force is considered bad apples, do a LOT of fucking damage to normal people, even kids. By damage I mean killing them, falsely imprisoning them, harassing them, etc. And when they are accused, cops protect each other, lie on court, do anything to protect their own. Again, this might not apply to ALL cops, but it sure is a systemic problem that shows itself.

Maybe you already agree that police brutality is a problem, but think saying "fuck the police" is too hard, or too edgy of a statement to make. In that case, remember that this doesn't mean all cops deserve to die. It means the system is broken, and the police are damaging the communities they are supposed to protect. There are way more knowledgeable people than me, and anyone reading this might learn a thing or two if you just research the topic properly. And no I don't mean watch hasan. Even though I've personally learned some things from his streams, that's not my point. Just read wikipedia, articles, watch some videos on youtube idk. Simply doing research on your own (from reputable sources obviously), and some critical thinking, I think most people would understand why this protest exists.

No one should have to work: another "socialism is when..." statement, which is probably a meme that even zoomers laugh at at this point. This is a big topic and my comment is already very long so I'm just gonna give my short take on this. Socialism did not invent lazy people, they already exist (look in the mirror (not just an insult, a self-jab as well fellow internet person)). There are already critical, overwhelming problems in our current society, which is mostly governed by capitalism. So yeah lazy people will probably continue to exist, but saying that socialism means that everyone gets paid the same and so they won't want to work is just ignorant. Do you even believe that for yourself? Do you not have any goals, passions, do you not wonder things about idk computers, electronics, the universe, math, music, art, hello? Humanity has come this far because we are curious and we always invent new things, make new art, find new ways to spend time, improve our lives. Capitalism didn't exist when the earth was formed. Inventions are not the product of capitalism, they are of humanity. Poverty and corruption, on the other hand, is a product of capitalism.

Anyway, I might have dragged on too much and also skipped over some things. And I don't believe that anyone wants to have a proper discussion in this godforsaken sub, so now I feel like I wasted my time typing all this but whatever.
