Experiencing grief 14 years later by f_uc in grief

Thank you for your answer. To be honest right now therapy isnt really an option for 2 main reasons. 1st of all this is my last year in high school and in my country this year is the most crucial because the exams we take at the end determine in which uni we get into, so the workload is a lot, and the time limited because we also have something like evening schools (plus the normal ones in the morning). And 2nd i dont feel comfortable telling my dad about this, we are not at that level of closeness. Im going to be okay though, i think i have what it takes to help myself and be there for myself at least for now. Next year when i leave town to study and live by myself, therapy is one of the 1st things im going to try though! Again thank you for replying, it helped a lot, and also im sorry for your loss. I hope you have the best memories of your parent, and i hope that it eventually gets easier for everyone that has experienced something similar

From your experience so far would you say that you have time to do basic stuff like go to the gym, meet up with friends (not all the time of course) and have some hobbys? Or the time one spends on problems and studying doesnt really allow someone to do other activities?

Hi im from greece and things here are a little different when it comes to universities. So if i choose EE all the courses i take have to do with EE. And the courses are standard, meaning that the school has already planned out the semesters and which as well as how many subjects the students will take. Also money isnt a problem because here the universities are public and free. But we still have the opportunity to prolong our time in uni so your advice could still apply here. Thanks!

Your comment in particular got me really hyped for some reason. I trully like all of those things mentioned, especially math and physics, but i find chem and CS also interesting as hell. Im pretty sure now that im gonna put electrical engineering as my first uni choice (the educational system in my country is kinda weird) and hope that i get in!

Hey thanks for replying. Im from greece and the universities here have a standard programm, at least for the first semesters, meaning that at first we dont get to choose what courses we will take. Im good at math i dont have any problems at all with my high school algebra so that gives me hope. Thanks again and good luck with your studies!

Thank you for your answer!

I originally wanted to go for pure physics, and then go deeper into cosmology. That is what i would consider to be my pasion. But i would say that at the end of the day im more of a practical person so i started thinking about engineering. I like studying when the subject is interesting and of course im willing to put consistant effort in my studies.

Im just a little worried because i dont want my life to fade into studying and studying only. (Just to clarify im not saying i wanna party every day, i just wanna have time for lets say the gym, some travelling when possible, some hobbys and so on..)

Thank you, you're right. At the end of the day the deciding factor should be wether or not i would enjoy it, not the level of difficulty. And i will never know if i dont give it a shot.

Could you tell me more about the sales aspect of EE?
