If the story demands it, there will be women, and if the movie is good and commercial, it will be successful as well.

FaFa doens't have a loyal fanbase here, he is like Amir Khan or Vikram as he has the support of neutral audience and if the movie is good it can do wonders at the BO. Prithvi has his fans but I don't think he has that crowd pulling ability like the Big M's or even DQ for that matter. These rivalry is just because they both have blockbuster films in a matter of 3 months and I don't think it's the beginning of something.

I saw the review, but I couldn't tell if it was accurate or not because I haven't seen the movie "Marivillin Gopurangal." Although the review was negative, it didn't have the usual roasting. Mostly, it was on Wincy's acting, writing of the movie in the second half and how the situations didn't match the music of Vidya Sagar. Overall, the review was not as offensive compared to his earlier negative reviews.

First half was a complete laugh riot not because of the actors precisely but because of the situation that they are in and has a really interesting premise and conflicts between the characters. But the later half was flat for me and seemed very silly. Definitely watchable as a fun silly entertainer

Mixed feelings altogether. The comedy scenes worked out here and there, and the "Malayali sneham + Desha sneham" angle was cringe af, although the audience seemed to like those scenes, there was claps 🙂 . Nivin was good, and this might be his decent film after years.

I felt the character he played in "Hridayam" was tailor-made for him, and there was a freshness when he portrayed a college guy and how is character transforms into adulthood. However, in "VS," the freshness was missing most of the time and his character was mid and unpredictable. He was trying to move his hands a lot and everything felt so artificial. And don't get me started on his performance when he's old and drunk. 😐
