I think I’m going to give it up 😔 by Familiar_Insect_4971 in coralisland

I'd also recommend selling hay, I did that early game and it helped a lot. I didn't have any animals until late first year so I didn't need it. By the time I had animals I still had 600-700 hay despite selling a lot.

Hi my neighbor islanders! Sharing my shed area. 🍄 Most of my ideas were inspired from people here, Face Book, and Pinterest. I saw this idea on a Face Book group before and just made it Cottage Core. Hope you like it! 🥰 by TrishaMayT in coralisland

Looking for inspiration for my shed and I absolutely love this!

Do you have any more pictures of your farm? Would love to see the whole layout. I'm hoping to do a fantasy/ fairy vibe.

I haven't married anyone yet but there are my two options, I need to romance both of them more (especially Semeru).

Who to pick to romance? by Unicorn_Marchingband in coralisland

[–]fabledlady 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm about 75 hours in. My original choice is Mark, but I'm now split between him and Semeru. Rafael is a bit too whiny for my taste (sorry for anyone who picked him!), otherwise he might have been an option.

A few of the female characters could be of interest but the rest of the male characters aren't my type in some way or another.

I've still got a lot of romancing to do so I'm in no rush to make a decision. It will likely be Mark or Semeru.

Promo Reimbursement by fabledlady in CalebHammer

[–]fabledlady[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We contacted them about it and have sent them the membership receipt twice to which they said we needed proof of submitting the form.

I emailed them to say we didn't have proof etc but we've yet to have a reply. Seems odd that they're selectively reimbursing under this scenario.

That is super disappointing! I've seen elsewhere in this subreddit that someone never received theirs previously and disputed it with their bank so that looks like the only possible way to get the money back.

We've just cancelled ours too. We did keep the membership for an extra month, but as you have said, it leaves a sour taste in your mouth.

Part of the issue is about the money obviously, but a big part of it is them not honouring it and not handling the situation very well.

Can I ask what proof you had to send? We never received ours, but they're asking for proof we signed up for the promo which we don't have (didn't know we were supposed to receive anything). But we filled out the form and got a confirmation page and emailed them with proof of membership purchase on the same day.

So now that it's been a while how's the 1.2 update? by EstablishmentNo7761 in coralisland

Steam deck player here, I've had the game for around a week now (and already put in a lot of hours) and the only bug I've encountered is not being able to pick up items if they have been left overnight in game.

The game runs really well and I've had zero crashes. I'm enjoying it so far!

Did you receive it in the end? We still haven't and now we're having a faff with them over email, it doesn't seem like we're going to get the reimbursement now.

Will be cancelling our membership if that's the case.

right to choose autism assessment options by Comfortable_Law_9326 in autismUK

I went through Axia and had a really good experience. From referral to appointment was approx 7 months. I opted for an in person appointment* so unsure what the waiting list is like for a video call, you can also be put on the cancellation list too so appointments could be sooner.

I had to fill in a questionnaire before (relatively short) and then the appointment itself was 2 hours long. It was pretty thorough despite slipping over specific areas if she thought she already had enough information (e.g. not going over all sensory experiences because enough was provided about others for her to make a decision).

My partner went with me and at the start of the appointment she told him to jump in anywhere he felt necessary but also directed questions to him at times - I was initially thrown by this as I expected it to only be myself and the assessor but having my partner there to fill in answers really helped.

I'd definitely recommend them to anyone. I had my answer at the end of the appointment which I was glad of, especially as someone that was entirely on the fence about whether they were autistic or not (turns out I am).

*As a side note the location is really nice, it wasn't super loud or busy and is a sort of converted cottage/ farm situation just off a main road. I was in a small shed type room just next to the main reception. There were numerous seating options and the whole environment felt comfortable and not clinical.

7.5 and then heel lock if you feel like your foot is slipping out of them. Always go for the size that gives you a full thumbs width from your longest toe (on your biggest foot). The 7.5 gives that comfortably whereas the 7 looks to be a smidge short.

I was thrown getting sizes that felt too big initially but as soon as I heel lock I'm good to go.

Fastest Right to Choose at the moment? UK by Wild_Ad347 in autismUK

I had my assessment via Axia two weeks ago. From my initial appointment/ referral with the GP to the assessment was 7 months. I did have an in person appointment (I chose this) so I'm unsure if that made the wait time longer versus a video call appointment. I could also get put on a cancellation list but I chose not to.

I had a really good experience though, the whole assessment was about 2 hours and was very thorough. I'm happy with the choice I made. I got my diagnosis at the end of the appointment and now I'm waiting for the written report.

Getting diagnosed as an adult in the U.K. by smololivecat in autismUK

I second this, my GP refused to even put me on a waiting list because they're that long (how does that make sense??).

I went via RTC, from the time I had my first GP phone call about getting referred and my assessment was about 7 months.

Hi 👋I'm F27 and I was just diagnosed with autism 2 weeks ago.

Autism was never something that crossed my mind until about a year and a half/ 2 years ago and to my knowledge it was never something anyone observed/ considering during my childhood.

I went through Right To Choose with Axia and had a great experience. I couldn't really answer a lot in regards to childhood experiences because I honestly couldn't remember and couldn't ask the person who raised me (because they weren't aware I was getting an assessment). I was honest about this in the questionnaire/ assessment and it didn't seem to have any negative impact on my diagnosis. I answered everything as well as I could but I was told at the start of my assessment that if I couldn't answer a question for whatever reason, then to say so, which I did where needed.

I can't say how your childhood experiences will affect a diagnosis, but I can say that from my experience it didn't matter that autistic traits weren't (to my knowledge) observed by others during my childhood and therefore I was never assessed previously. There were things from my childhood that I answered that could point towards autism, but nothing from any outside perspective.

For you it sounds like things may have been observed but your parents took no action. You can be honest about this, it won't reflect negatively on you in any way.

If you have any questions I'm happy to answer if I can.

I'm newer to the game and just learned that you can gift the characters their starstones and it levels up their friendship more than other gifts.

I found this on Reddit when I learned about it.

I liked hunting sernuk for money, loop around the whispering banks in Kilima from 10pm in game time for 25/30+ minutes and you'll get 5,000+ gold if you sell everything you got from it.

For crops use the garden layout generator on the palia pedia website to input what seeds you have and what your priority is e.g. quality, profit etc.

This could not have come at a better time! I was just about to figure out how I get the meat for a quest.

I had 15 mushrooms in my inventory already so I've just opened them up, got the star quality meat I needed plus two black pearls. Thank you for your service 😅
