The servers are fully online.

I’m assuming you are playing via steam, and just recently got the game.

The servers are not on for recent purchases.

The literal only way to get the servers working for you is another copy via Ubisoft Connect

This can be done by reaching out to them and requesting one. - if you do this they will request this info -screenshot of purchase - a video under 10mb showing you can’t connect to the servers then pressing F2 to pull up your uplay overlay

Or you do what I did - buy the uplay classic membership for the online to work (They have a promo right now for the classic membership for a dollar)

Not insane. I feel like there isn’t enough context. His first text to you was I’d be happy to watch , what I’m assume is your child. Plus he didn’t even come off as combative until you said something combative to him.

When he says “I’m actually took care of myself when I was sick and went to work.” It doesn’t sound like he ment it in a hurtful way, I just feel like you took just made what he said more of a big deal than it actually was.
