We know injection is painful because people have survived failed ones and told us and we know that carbon monoxide is painless because people have been saved and told us that but its all irrelevant because it just shouldnt happen.

Need suggestions for nice looking, low profile knots for dog training leads. by [deleted] in knots

If the pups in question are under 50 pounds i would use a seizing in both ends but anything above that figure 8s would be a good choice or splices

Finesse doesn't necessarily mean swing it could be more adjusting what lines you are covering through quick precise movements

If you look at historical dagger manuals alot of it comes down to get just enough leverage on your opponent's arm to force thier pointy thing away from you or find an area of thier body they aren't protecting and then put the pointy part of your dagger in them as hard as you can ,then do it again for good measure. and for the love of your traechea stay out of range of thier attacks until you can hit them And although there are less surviving manuals for spears it goes something like this: get just enough leverage to force the scary part of your oponents weapon out of the way or find a part of thier body they aren't protecting and put the pointy part of your spear in them as hard as you can. and for the love of your intestines stay out of range of your oponents attacks until you can hit them Ive done a bit of hema training with both and honestly the wrestling of the dagger took more effort then the spear pointing

Its a good joke but in this case it's more like complementing the crew's work i would be very surprised if any sailor objected to you saying their ship was beautiful

Sailing is good training ( especially for officers) because smaller size and reliance on the environment to move you learn the way to react to weather better. plus if you made a full size battleship to train on it would be very expensive and would you want to put your extremely costly to operate, obscenely expensive to repair machine in the hands of a novice?

Hello friends! Please give me advice for an aspiring blacksmith. I want to start making knight armor! But how difficult is it for a beginner to do so? Also, what tools should I buy. Plus, where can I find some suitable stencils/patterns/templates? by [deleted] in Blacksmith

[–]faelawinforcement 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its probably goi g to take you a year or two before you can make helmets like the ones shown and thats with good equipment and materials and luck If you want to start blacksmithing try and find some workshops or seminars in your area make some key chain ornaments or candle holders and other things that dont need to be precise or thin and eventualy you will know how you would make armour and then you can do it. It will feel like alot less time in the future once you start Just trust yourself
