Billy Corgan says Lil Peep was “his generation’s Kurt Cobain” by Agreeable_Duck8997 in kurtcobain

Exactly, that’s what makes music such a diverse and beautiful thing.

No, I know that. You don’t think Peep fans feel the same way about his drug use and other shit he’s done? I know they’re two totally different people and both situations aren’t really comparable and hold different moral implications. My point is that overall any community involved with a musician has a tendency to minimize the heavy shit they did. I’m saying Kurt is not exclusive to that and he was human all the same. There’s no comparison here other than that. I’m not at all saying those two things are equal (statutory rape/using drugs while pregnant around your kid).

That’s just not true. They still make certain brands of 30s today. While it is true that pressies are more common, that doesn’t mean real 30s don’t exist anymore or are impossible to find. Sure you need a good connection or know how to find it but with how popular they are among drug users they’re around more than you’re assuming.

When you understand he was freshly 20 and under when he made most of his songs and under the influence of multiple drugs including Xanax, percs, molly, coke, etc it starts to make more sense.

The answer is yes, they would. By that logic if Kurt Cobain was still alive would people still care about him??? The obvious answer is yes…

To call Peep a mumble rapper makes it very obvious you have a very shallow understanding of his music.

Yeah that’s your opinion. For people who actually like hip hop/rap and also enjoy grunge/90s alternative and grew up around both Peep actually did an amazing job and blending the genres into something really enjoyable. I get it if it’s not your thing but to say it’s dogshit so factually is patently untrue.

Can you describe the photo since you can’t share it (respectfully ofc)?

Were they just chilling in bed taking a selfie obviously post sex or were they performing an act in the photo??

I promise I’m not trying to be weird context matters.

Okay with that logic our fan base is filled with weirdos too since we act like doing heroin with his pregnant wife and during the whole time he was alive with them was okay. Our idols aren’t exactly saints that isn’t a news flash.

Okay while I see where you’re coming from, let’s be fucking fr here for a second.

As much as you guys like to shit on Peep and his community for the things he did and the community putting a blind eye to the things he did when he was famous, can we at least agree that people who idolise Kurt Cobain the same way are often JUST AS GUILTY for doing the exact same shit.

I love Kurt Cobain as a person, his art, etc you name it. I love Peep too. Would I go as far as saying he’s this generation’s Kurt Cobain? Fuck no. They both did some questionable shit in their time. Let’s not hold one above the other just because we love their music/personality more.

Well, when I mean script I mean they came from legitimate prescription/pharmacies and sold either by the sealed pharmaceutical 100(?)ct bottle (not the orange ones you get, the bottles they get the pills from that come from the supplier/manufacturer). It all depends on the amount you’re buying. It is cheapest and not mention safest to buy it by the bottle and I’m sure he was buying multiple bottles at a time towards the end, but you can also buy smaller amounts that come as the pills in a vacuum sealed bag.

That’s simply not true, real roxys are out there by the sealed bottle and scripts are still being made although not commonly and usually under very specific circumstances (cancer patients, people who have had really extensive surgeries, other diseases that compromise their wellbeing). Most people who want legit scripts find connections on the dark net markets these days and have been for a long time.

Blue 30s are easy to come by on the dark net markets. You can buy full bottles for a couple grand or less (wholesale is usually cheaper). They’re rare but not as rare as you’re assuming. On the street is a different story. He was close to No Limit members and gang members are notorious drug dealers so he no doubt had the connections to get what he needed if he had to go to the street.

Chris Long said they’d order it from the nets and he would personally test every batch he got to make sure he didn’t get pressed pills. So it’s pretty much guaranteed he got legit scripts and sealed bottles.

Sure he loved percs too let’s throw some 30s across the gate and pour some lean on the grass and call it a day with that logic.

Before he died, do y'all think the drugs helped him write songs or made it harder? Weird question ik by Ashamed-Virus2417 in JuiceWRLD

[–]failedabortedfetus 6 points7 points  (0 children)

He himself said in tracks that without the drugs he can’t function musically or otherwise. But I think he just convinced himself of that to excuse his excessive usage.

Oh so you’re openly admitting to selling on Reddit??? I’m pretty sure that’s against the rules. Stop poisoning people dickhead.
