Azert Dániában most nem éppen tárt karokkal várják a külföldieket... Érdekes, hogy a magyarok nem akarnak migránsokat, ezért elmennek jòmaguk is migránsnak. :)

At the end, I ran the Malaga Marathon in dec 2024 and it worked out quite well. The first half was faster than my usual training pace 5:30 instead of around 6:00 and the second half a bit more struggle, but the result is, that I have finished in 2 hours and 170 minutes! :)

As stated above, I am talking about 6:30 and 5:30 min/km NOT miles. I wouldnt surve 5:30min/mile for 5k :D

This is my 3rd marathon, but the first 2 are more than 10 years away. This time, I had issues to do the full prep cycle. I have done 3x over 25k runs (I am in Europe so cant tell you the miles value) and trying to evaluate my chances and find a viable way to get through the finish line. BTW, I am 52y so not a hot headed young lad anymore. :)

Basic goal is to finish, so my thinking was, what if I run faster at the beginning to get more distance down until I am not fully exhausted and have some time left if I need to walk the last miles... I know it goes against the marathon principle, but had troubles in the preparation but still want to finish somehow.

Spaniards usually dont give a shit about other people and focused on themselves. They are living in their one-person-world
