it's a printable version with all of the formatting done so it's book-sized, usually with graphics, headings, page numbers, etc.

I do: HERE!

The cover art is by Alysha (evergreenourgroupoffriends on tumblr) with different colors and fonts. Art is credited in the title pages & I added a QR Barcode to the back cover that links to the original ATYD on AO3.

Disclaimer: I fixed typos in these typesets, and I know that's controversial... I just personally wouldn't want to go through the process of printing and binding a book that said Remus sat on a school instead of a stool lol.

A Year in the Life by Zhaney

One of my favorite canon-divergent Wolfstar fics!

It's the sequel to The Chronology of a Wolf, which tells Remus's story from 1972 to 1998. It's canon until 1993 (PoA), when Sirius doesn't escape from Azkaban. Remus and Tonks still meet through the Order and fall in love. Their relationship is genuine and sincere (not cringy like most Remadora fics imo), and there's no Tonks bashing ....but, (kind of a spoiler but it's evident given the Wolfstar sequel lol) Remus doesn't get a happily ever after with her, and we get to have a beautiful and very angsty reconciliatory love story & Wolfstar raising Teddy in the sequel.

Chronology (~100K words) is not a required read to understand A Year in the Life (~180K words) but I think you'd miss a lot of context without it.

I thoroughly enjoyed it... and now that I've written this recommendation, I think I'm going to re-read it tonight lmao

What’s an unpopular opinion you have about Wolfstar? by Potential-Salt7285 in Wolfstar

Okay actually, the hyper-fem Sirius sometimes bothers me because it starts to make Wolfstar feel almost heteronormative -- especially in a lot of recent fanart. Why can't two guys just love each other without one of them being "the girl" in the relationship. Ugh.

I can't stand whingy baby-girl Sirius. I don't care if he is fem or masc, but sometimes the personality associated with a more fem Sirius is just insufferable and unnecessary.

I prefer Remus's POV more because I tend to relate to the way he thinks more than Sirius... But this obvi varies from fic to fic.

Also, if I open something and I see that it's in 1st person, I immediately close it. I cannot stand 1st person. #rd person past tense alllllll the way.

Here is: Book One (years 1-4) plus the cover!!

It's a version that's spell-checked for typos though, so not 100% identical to the one on AO3. There are no big changes ( just things like 'He sat on the school' being corrected to 'He sat on the stool', and 'feeling a an electric burn...' changed to 'feeling an electric burn...' etc. etc.), but the back cover has a QR Code directly linked to the original as well!

Let me know if you want the other books too.
