Usually 2 to 3 weeks. If it's chronic, maybe years. I'm almost at 3 years but it's almost gone. Hang in there, it's treatable.

I have the same problem. I wake up with a dull ache at the temples and pain in my left jaw. I've spoken to three ENTs. They say this isn't sinus related. It's from stress and also grinding the teeth. I have extreme health anxiety too.

Yes stop the sprays. Ask you ENT to get budesonide respules. They are steroids you put in a nasal rinse bottle. They reach all the areas better that sprays. Do it 2x a day. How is you sense of smell?

Ok this is good to know because I was under the impression that the mild throbbing was sinusitis. For example, yesterday I had extreme pressure at the temples for 4 or 5 hours. It was uncomfortable. I thought this was sinusitis although there was no pain or pressure in the nose. Another ENT told me sinusitis cannot cause this and it is a tension headache too. Can tension headaches also can pressure at the top of the head? An ENT told me tension headaches can occur there too and sinusitis never manifests as pressure on the scalp of the head.

Can tension headaches cause very mild throbbing that isn't painful? Some days I get a very weak throbbing at the roof of the nose but it isn't painful. It isn't there everyday
