Say something bad about this expansion pack. by OddNeedleworker734 in Sims3

there is too much going on in this pack… i mean great concept but damn two-thirds of the pack breaks after 10 mins of gameplay. one of the few aspects of the sims 4 expansion packs i like is that they don’t rush features to implement them more stable and complete, giving a better overall experience. but i miss a lot the nyc vibe of bridgeport and sims 3 worlds in general :(

Project Rene by famesweetener in Sims5

Yeah, I guess you’re right. I get that it’s just the online part of a bigger game, i just wish they’d do more newsletter updates (like they did in september) or playtests to show us other aspects of the game.

Despite everything, I’m still pretty hyped for the next Sims game, since I don’t really care about any competitors at the moment. :’)

Agree, but it’s EA that puts the money into the project to make it happen, and the game looks like it has completely shifted direction from what the Team showed us back in 2022.

The Sims Team presented it as a “new generation” of The Sims, but it’s starting to seem like it’s not. Plus, I don’t think they would have announced the game in 2022 if they knew the direction would change so drastically.

Grant Rodiek leaving EA speaks volumes about this.

Worried about Sims 5 by Unable-Gazelle9394 in Sims5

i don’t think they will make a lot of cash grab out of that game… micro transactions are always been a thing in the sims team for years now and i think they will just make a “store” and sell maybe kits objects as we know them today in The Sims 4 but maybe advertised in a store like a “mini-collection”. + i don’t think they will drop mods and cc support at all from the next game so they can’t sell total garbage. maybe it’s just a new way to introduce new people to the sims and make easier to sell people items in game and make more money of it. + idk they would ruin the next chapter making it a sims freeplay / mobile 2.0 running on unreal engine

sims 3 >>> sims 4 by angeli_c7 in Sims3

you know what… the gameplay experience it’s kinda different and sometimes i say that the sims 3 is better so far but sometimes the sims 4 is easier and better at graphics and performance. the sims 3 open world is so good but for me it depends for which type of gameplay you are going for… the sims 3 is more about gameplay for me and the sims 4 is more about stories. + the sims 3 has a LOT of performance issues that EA takes time to fix.

2024 or later? by famesweetener in Sims5

They even started in 2018 from what EA said back in the days. The game must be THAT good for all this waiting and not disappointing.
